I wish when you are done playing the fire hydrants actually act like a save to save your game if you're done not just when you die it's like your last spawn point...( though I wish that there was a way to save at all...) Im sorry at least maybe also adding just one more life and heart to your counters and hearts and lives more abundant in the trash bins to... I think it's just a BIT hard and tedious to actually go anywhere with the amount of hearts and lives you got or get in the trash bins Shure there is and abundant amount of hydrants around but if you die that's it back to the beginning with ya! I really do love the concept I think it's a great one! Though I think it would be fun if you had different dog breed skins like if you go in your dog house and "sleep" it will do a quick black transition with a bark sound and you can be different dogs they don't have to play different from the normal skin but it would be a fun cute way to play the game maybe even go in other pets homes as well or in caves or burrows to find some like toys and each toy maybe has a fun mini game to it maybe add like a toybox in your dog house to so you can play the mini games I pay for a game with these features! But like I said before its hard to enjoy your game if I have to shut the game down and do it again from the top.... Please for the most part add a save system! I love this concept! For me it's about a 3 half star sort of game mainly due to save issues.... But ya keep up the good work! :) ⭐
(Not to mention that this cute cartoon dog looked like my real dog... She was brown everywhere and her eyes were also a chestnut brown.... Her ears were not QUITE as dark brown as that.... But they were so silky soft!... And she has a bushy fluffy tail like that to she did like in game have a faint thick line going from back of head to tail like in game tho her nose was not pink but I love it that way anyway was brown... She did chase birds and other small critters but was terrified of the cat! xp but learned to be nice in the same room as one another but never true buddies... She just like in this game she gotten into the neighbor's trash bin one day got so sick... And that was that... Poor dog... :'C...)
Thank you for the feedback. This was my first NES game and I wasn't able to do every feature I wanted to. Customizing the colours of the dog was one of the things I had looked at back then but couldn't pull off. I've improved my coding skills a lot since then and If I was ever to make a sequel or remake, I would definitely take these suggestions into account.
Well hearing that it was your first game I will say sorry for some stuff that I said I always kinda wanted to make a game to but even thinking of starting one seemed hard! But I did like what you put out and well made me think of my poor old Nestle... I told you she looked like your cartoon puppy besides the pink nose ( tho I love the pink nose so cute! ) and she loved chasing birds and other small critters sometimes it was hard to get her to stop!... Xp anyway good work Id look at more games from you if you're interested even if thinking about making m games in the future thank you for reminding me of my sweet doggy!
